Each ScienceShell is a self-contained experimental unit integrating culture chambers, fluid tanks, pumping systems, illumination, sensors, and programmable control electronics into a compact, flight-ready design.
Thanks to their modular architecture, culture chambers and reservoirs can be adapted to specific volumes and experimental needs. Automated medium exchange, nutrient supply, fixation processes, and environmental control ensure reliable, reproducible results without manual intervention. Optional LEDs, sensors, and imaging systems further expand analytical capabilities.
